The oldest French restaurant in Sofia welcomes you in the subtle coziness of an authentic French bistro. The Roches have turned the small ground floor of an old house into a true family restaurant, that’s now not short of famous for the fantastic food served there and the great wine selection. L’Etranger is located in one of the oldest parts of town, a short stride from a central subway station. It’s a perfect place for a romantic getaway but also the place to go if you’d like to gather friends, or impress business partners. Booking well in advance is essential as the restaurant is often sold out. The short menu offers the essential of French cuisine. But the real interesting offers can be found on black board on the wall. The “Suggestions du jour” are always seasonal and with all the ingredients handpicked by chef Olivier.
